About Freda

A woman with short, curly hair and wearing a red patterned shirt is smiling at the camera. She is sitting in a kitchen with a woman and a young boy in front of her. The kitchen has a white stove with coil burners and a patterned backsplash with patchwork quilt designs.

“My grandmother Freda, mother of 6 girls, restaurant owner, maker of incredible chicken wings, and with a laugh that filled the room, was known for her hospitality. Sharing her gift of making people feel loved and special was one of the ways she brought her light into the world. Carrying that mantel of hospitality forward is one of the most important values to us. We believe that making people feel loved and special helps them do their best work and their best art.”
