Once upon a time there was a boy named Nick. He loved playing basketball and dreamed of becoming an NBA player. Every morning he would wake up before school to practice for at least one hour, shooting hoops, running drills, holding the vision. For years, Nick would play basketball and gain notoriety for his skills. He was on track to achieve his life-long goal. When he was 16 he was cut from the basketball team. He was crushed. And then something happened. He picked up a guitar and started to play. And he played. And he played.
Soon, a new dream was formed.
After graduating high school, he packed up his bags and moved to Ithaca, NY where he attended Ithaca College and received his degree in jazz guitar and studied composition.
While attending college he met other musicians who would become his band mates for the next ten years. That band, Revision, toured the US, playing hundreds of dates per year, gaining a fan base and reputation.
Every few years they would record an album of their original songs and it’s there that Nick experienced his love for recording.
Picking up the magazine Tape Op, hanging foam on the four walls of a small room in his band’s apartment, Nick began the process of recording his own solo music, friend’s music, and more.
